Rocket Singh , Salesman of the year : An unbiased review !

Directed by Shimit Amin of ‘Chuck De India’ fame, this movie replicates the emerging face of new India. Not as racy as Chak De, the story is told with a sincerity and simplicity that will make your eye watery.

Ranbeer Kapoor has come a long way from his debut ‘Saawariyaan’ to his last flick of 2009 and he winsomely portrays the character of a simpleton who stands true to his ideals undeterred by the lavish offerings that life presents him at various turns. Humiliated and scorned by his colleagues for his integrity and truthfulness, he quits his Company and commences life on his own terms; not bowing down to the pressures and lures of corporate world. Gauhar Khan, who plays a supporting role, does well and deserves applause, after wasting her career, hitherto, doing meaningless and raunchy roles.

The movie is worth-a-watch and sketches a futuristic vision for the young India; furnishing a subtle message to the Gen-Y. Watch it for fun, frolic, emotion but most importantly for that sense of déjà vu it evokes in our inner conscience.
